Faelyn just turned 5 on Valentines Day 2003. She will be starting Kindergarten this fall. I'm biased, but I swear she gets prettier everyday!
Her favorite thing is drawing on her Magnadoodle. She got a new one for her birthday, and its her 5th one! She loves playing with them so much, she goes through them very quickly. She also likes to watch Nick Jr tv shows. They are the shows on Nickelodeon from 9am til 2pm. Her favorite is Dora the Explorer.
She also loves animals, especially cats. She felt like Blue was her own cat and was very sad when he died right before Christmas. I'd had him 13 years, but I felt that in the last couple of years he had really bonded with her. They played together alot. They had games they knew how to play with each other. She misses that a lot. Even though we have two other cats, neither are very friendly with her. They were both feral when they came here as strays, so they're kind of skittish to lots of handling. I think I'm going to have to get her a kitten, or a rescued cat from the shelter that has a history of being good with children. I feel that children and animals belong together. They need one another.
Faelyn is a very good natured kid who hardly ever throws a fit and easily switches gears when needed. She even calms herself down when she does get upset, by whispering to herself to "settle down". She's really a joy to have here at home with me and I'll miss her a lot when she goes to school. She's the one "Momma's girl" out of the bunch.
